Did you know that you can go to college for FREE?
There are multiple ways to get help paying for your college education at the four Peralta Colleges. In addition to traditional Financial Aid, the California College Promise Grant and a wide array of scholarships through the Peralta Colleges Foundation are there to make your dream of a college education a reality.
The California College Promise Grant is available for students planning to or currently attending a California community college and waives enrollment fees. More than 1 million students got this grant last year... now it could be your turn.

The deadline to apply for a CCPG is the last day of the school year. This means that the Financial Aid Office must receive a valid CCPG application or Student Aid Report (SAR) no later than the last day of finals during Spring semester.
Community colleges have long provided a gateway to higher education, but that gateway has become more difficult to access. Costs to attend community college have doubled since 2006.
A student who enrolled full time in a community college will pay an estimated $1,500 per semester for fees, books and supplies that go beyond tuition. The students who attend the Peralta Colleges tend to be low-income, with at approximately 70 percent qualifying for financial assistance, but this assistance falls short of making a college education affordable for many.
Gifts from alumni, employees, committed citizens, corporations and foundations help many students lacking financial resources achieve their educational and career goals.
The Peralta Colleges offer a wide range of resources to help you succeed both in school and in life.
Classes are mostly online this spring and we are working to make sure you can access all of the necessary tools from counseling services, to admissions and records, to financial aid.
There are medical services for your physical and mental health, online tutoring, low cost internet options. Follow the link below for more resources at our colleges
